Este trabajo de investigación se centra en analizar los factores de riesgo psicosocial que enfrentan<br/>los migrantes venezolanos con vocación de permanencia en Barranquilla, Colombia. Se aborda el<br/>estrés aculturativo, la pérdida de redes de apoyo social, la discriminación y la incertidumbre sobre<br/>el futuro como factores clave que afectan la salud mental y el bienestar de estos migrantes,<br/>dificultando su integración en la sociedad local. Además, se examinan los convenios<br/>internacionales sobre protección a migrantes y se identifica una brecha entre estos marcos legales<br/>y su implementación efectiva en Barranquilla. El estudio también explora barreras para la inclusión<br/>de los migrantes en el acceso a servicios básicos, inserción laboral y aceptación social, a la vez<br/>que destaca iniciativas prometedoras para promover la integración. Finalmente, se recomienda la<br/>sensibilización de la comunidad local y la realización de estudios longitudinales para entender<br/>mejor la evolución de estos factores de riesgo a lo largo del tiempo y en otras ciudades<br/>colombianas. |

This research focuses on analyzing the psychosocial risk factors faced by Venezuelan migrants<br/>intending to stay in Barranquilla, Colombia. Key factors such as acculturative stress, loss of social<br/>support networks, discrimination, and future uncertainty significantly impact the mental health and<br/>overall well-being of these migrants, complicating their integration into local society.<br/>Additionally, the study examines international agreements on migrant protection and identifies a<br/>gap between these legal frameworks and their effective implementation in Barranquilla. The<br/>research also explores barriers to migrant inclusion in terms of access to basic services, formal<br/>employment, and social acceptance while highlighting promising initiatives to promote<br/>integration. Finally, the study suggests community sensitization and longitudinal studies to better<br/>understand the evolution of these risk factors over time and in other Colombian cities. |
